January 2023 Prayer Letter

Dear Soldiers of the Cross,

We trust you are starting off this new year with Christ in the center of your life—without Him we can do nothing. I want to thank each one of you for your many cards and gifts bestowed upon us during the Christmas holiday season. Our hearts were overwhelmed with your gracious love and generosity. I also want to thank all the churches and individuals that sent out Christmas gifts to our Native kids out on the reservations. Only heaven will know all that was accomplished through your acts of love.

With all the unpredictable weather across our nation, the Lord has given us a little time at home to catch up on some needed home repairs. But this is short lived. Please pray for us as we make a survey trip to Massachusetts to set in order our next building project. As last year, we are already fully booked with building projects and Bible schools. God has already provided us with laborers for the vineyard. Praise the Lord! Last year we traveled around the world twice, over 55,000 miles, leaving the US only twice, once to Mexico and once to the Six Nations Reservation in Canada.

Please pray that God will continue to give me good health for this year’s labor. Please pray for Ms Sheril as she continues to give medical care to her aging mother. The travels to and from our homes and the long hours are really taking their toll on her. Plus working out on the mission field without her with me is very difficult.

As many of you know, we have been working on a reprint of John Eliot’s Native American Bible (first Bible printed in America). This project has come with many unforeseen obstacles. Please pray that God will give us clear direction in reprinting this.

We are rejoicing that God has given us a mobile work trailer for our building projects out on the reservations. We are in the process of building shelves and other maintenance work to make it road worthy. We are in need of small building tools, a generator, ladders and a 3500 or 4500 pick-up truck to pull it with. Please help us pray for these needs. If you would like to send a love gift, you can send it to NAMFM, 3232 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768 and mark it for tools, truck or Bible project.
