Dear Soldiers of the Cross,
Matthew 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. These are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have my cell phone alarm set at 9:38 am and 9:38 pm to remind me daily to pray for my Lord’s prayer request. This weighs heavily upon me because I see it first hand on our reservations: we have not enough labors. I wonder how many of God’s people truly want to see souls saved. I preached a message the other day that had these 4 points, Admit, Submit, Commit, Transmit. The third point, Commit, is were most of God’s people stop. Until we can fully Commit all to God, we will not be able to fully Transmit Christ to others. Let’s ask God to help us to fully Commit to Him so we can fulfill His will in our lives.
We had a great time at Share-A-Thon this year. God met with us in a special way through the Preaching, singing and time of fellowship. Both the radio budget and the network budget were met and we are rejoicing over that. For those of you that are not familiar with this broadcast you can tune-in through wgcr.net or by radio 720 am or 94.9 fm. This broadcast is apart of Anchor Baptist Church and Anchor Baptist Missions International (ABMI) they are located at 3232 Hendersonville HWY Pisgah Forest NC 28768. This is the mission board that I’m a member of.
We are continuing our work on the reprint of John Eliot’s Bible, (the first Bible printed in America). We want to add a Preface to the Bible giving recognition to all the natives that were instrumental in the translation and also the actual printing of the bible. We have been greatly encouraged in our research and our findings of this material. I feel that our native people will be enlightened and encouraged as well to know of this rich heritage we have. We must do all we can to get the Gospel out to the lost and dying world. Please pray that God will give us an open door through this project.
I have some upcoming trips to some reservations we would like for you to help us pray about. Some of the reservations are still concerned about Covid. This is one of Satan’s tools to try and keep us out, but we serve a God that is bigger. I have 2 reservations that are working against me but I believe God has opened a door for us there. Please pray.
