Psalm 26:7; That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. Beloved, as we are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to give voice to all that God has done this past year. During my time in ministry, I’ve tried not to fall into a numbers trap by exalting numbers. I’ve always felt that exalting numbers came to close to exalting pride, and we know how God feels about pride. But I do want to give thanksgiving to God with the voice of Thanksgiving and publish to all, the wonderful works of God. Throughout the year we’ve seen the hand of God working, as He was opening doors of opportunity and closing other doors. God gave us opportunity to have 9 Bible Schools on reservations throughout the nation. He gloriously provided us with 9 outstanding churches to do the work. We had approximately 250 hard working individuals come out to the reservations. God gave us the opportunity to have 3 building projects on 3 different reservations and enough helpers to get the job done. We had 22 individuals ask Christ for salvation. The estimated cost for the hands and feet of the Gospel was more than $250.000. To this I publish with my voice of Thanksgiving, “Praise God”, to our Great and Mighty God that we serve.
I have a special Pray request for Ms. Sheril and her family. As most of you know, Ms. Sheril has not traveled with me at all this year because she has been taking care of her aging mother. Her mom’s going home time is drawing nigh. Please keep Ms. Sheril and her family in your prayers.
I also have a very special request for all of you. You have heard me mention this many times, and now we are moving forward. Pastor Mark Smith and Faith Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington are helping us with the reprint of the John Eliot Native American Bible. This was the first Bible printed in America. This Bible was translated into the Algonquin language and printed on the present day grounds of Harvard University in 1663, 43 years after the Mayflower landed at Plymouth, Massachusetts. My heart is overwhelmed with joy to be a part of this wonderful opportunity. This Bible was used to bring salvation and hope to the Wampanoag people and other Algonquin speaking people in that area. There are just over 5,000 members of the Wampanoag Tribe, and we wish to give a copy of this Bible to each one of them without charge. Would you please help us support this Bible project? Because of all the first-time setup expenses, the price of this Bible will be $30 each. We need to raise $150,000. This is a small price to pay for the salvation of souls.
You can send your support for this Bible project to:
