Dear Soldiers of the Cross,
I trust you’re doing well today and that you are busy about the Father’s business. God has really encouraged my heart with this scripture: Psalm 107:23-24 “They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.” I’m convinced that most of God’s people will never see the depth of the wonders of the Lord because we are not willing to step out by faith and say to the Lord, “What will thou have me to do?” Beloved, this is when we can see the wonders of the Lord. I want to go on record today and say, “Lord what will thou have me to do?”
We want to thank God and God’s people for the overwhelming response to this year’s 2026 Share-a-Thon. God met with us in a mighty way through the preaching, singing and fellowship. The missions’ goals were met, and God was glorified. I’m so thankful that God has placed me in the midst of so great a people that love him and are willing to give of themselves to the glory of God. This is nothing but heaven on earth. Praise the Lord! We are set for another year of sending out the Gospel through the airwaves.
God gave us a wonderful opportunity to preach a week-long revival meeting on the Tuscarora Reservation in upstate New York. God met with us in a special way with many responding to the preaching and giving testimonies of how God had spoken to them. These dear folks are dear to my heart, and I love them deeply. Please continue to pray for the Tuscarora Baptist Church and the pastor that they will continue to be that great light in their community.
We ask that you continue to pray for our Bible schools and building projects this year. As always, we have issues that arise that hinder the work. Satan is always at work trying to stop or discourage God’s people. The work is always greater than we are, but we must keep pressing on. I would like to invite everyone to attend Hoopers Creek Baptist Church 2026 Share-a-Thon starting May 11th-17th. The address is 70 Hoopers Creek Road, Fletcher, NC. This gathering is for a number of events — preaching, singing, fellowship, eating, relaxing and raising support for two radio stations, 1010AM and 1380AM, and the internet. The radio stations are missions supported, and the time spent on the grounds is out of this world. If you can’t attend, you can tune in by radio or by internet at Hoopers Creek Broadcasting Network. Please pray for my Pastor Phillip Youngblood and all the staff that God will give them strength for this task.
