August 2022 Prayer Letter

Dear Soldiers of the Cross,

Mark 4:3 “Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow.” Mark 4:14 “The sower soweth the word.” Beloved, God has given us a tremendous year in his vineyard, sowing the precious Word of God. Many souls were saved and many heard God’s Word taught, preached and demonstrated through hands and feet. I thank him so much for allowing me this glorious opportunity to labor for him.

I’m thankful for my home church (Hoopers Creek Baptist Church) for helping us with our Vacation Bible School at Faith Baptist Church on the Fort Hall Reservation in Blackfoot, Idaho, and at Mashpee Baptist Church on the Wampanoag Reservation, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. God met with us in a special way, and the group did an outstanding job. We averaged 40’s to 60’s each night at Faith Baptist on the Fort Hall with many responding to the Gospel. We didn’t have very many kids attend the VBS at Mashpee Baptist due to so many other events taking place at the same time, but we had a good number of the church folks attend, many of them testifying that the Bible school was for them. What a special time we had! We want to also thank Calvary Baptist from Sandford, Maine, for helping us as well with the VBS at Mashpee Baptist. This was a very highly qualified group with a great desire to get the Gospel out to our Native people. We all had a great time of fellowship together and with the Mashpee folks. God allow us to make some good contacts while door knocking in the community. We are already making plans to return next year.

Ms Sheril and I are currently on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota attending a Native American Missions Meeting at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church. I’m rejoicing Ms Sheril was able to come with me. Working alone without her is very difficult. Missionary/Pastor Ken Trivertt and his wife Ms Sherry are doing an outstanding work among the Lakota Sioux people. God has given him one of the greatest Native Baptist works that I know of. Please pray for this mission’s work; there is an ongoing resistance against the Gospel in this area. But we serve a God that’s able to defeat this enemy.

We have not mentioned our prayer request concerning the southwest warehouse project lately. But please pray that if God wants us to build a warehouse in the southwest that he will open this door and give us clear directions.

As We Labor for Christ,
