Dear Soldiers of the Cross,
Hello! I trust you are doing well today and enjoying these beautiful summer days. The month of June started out in overdrive. The first week God blessed me with the opportunity to take my two grandsons, Greyson and Levi, to Alaska with me on a mission trip. With the help of Little Ivy Baptist Church, we had our first Bible school at Open Door Baptist Church in Fairbanks, Alaska. God met with us in a special way with four souls giving their heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord! Thanks to Little Ivy Baptist Church for all the hard work.
The second week of June my two grandsons and I assisted brother David Youngblood, missionary in the village of Kiana, Alaska, with setting up his summer camp for kids. This village is located approximately 90 miles north of the Arctic Circle. The work was very tiresome, but God gave us strength to endure. The first week of his camp 19 souls asked Christ to be their Savior. Praise the Lord!
The third week of June Little Ivy Baptist Church helped us again with a Bible school on the Flathead Reservation in Montana. Thanks again for all the hard work. Also, the third week in June Pleasant Hill Baptist Church helped us with two Bible schools on the New Mexico side of the Navajo Reservation. God met with them in a special way with three souls asking Christ to be their Savior. Praise the Lord!
Finally, the fourth week of June Hoopers Creek Baptist Church helped us with a Bible school on the Wampanoag Reservation on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The Lord met with us in a special way stirring our hearts and also the hearts of all those that attended. Thank you, Lord, for these wonderful opportunities to put our hands to the plow and serve you.
Praise the Lord! The John Eliot Native American Bible has been completed and is in route to our warehouse at this time. We have added an additional booklet to the order. John Eliot wrote a grammar book to teach the Algonquin speaking people how to read their language. We need approximately $8,000 to cover the cost of this booklet. Please consider helping us to cover this expense. Lord willing, we will be placing the John Eliot Bible back into the hands of the Wampanoag people in September. Please pray that God will be honored in this effort.
If you would like to help us with the remainder of this John Eliot Bible expense, you can send your support for this Bible project to:
