July 2024 Prayer Letter

Dear Soldiers of the Cross,

I trust you are doing well today. I have very important questions for you today. Where are you in your service to the Lord? Are you busy about the Father’s business? Romans 13:11 “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep.” Deuteronomy 2:3 “Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.” Beloved, are you asleep at your post of duty? Are still in the same old rut you were in last year or even since God saved you? Only you can determine that, and only you can decide to step-up and fall-in to the place God can use you for His glory.  John 4:35 “Say not ye, there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” Oh, God, open our eyes!

July has been a very busy month for us. We attended our Lumbee Homecoming in Pembroke, North Carolina. It was a joy visiting with a lot of our family and friends.

I want to thank Independent Baptist Church from Clinton, Maryland, for helping us with a Bible school on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona. Missionary Andy Magnarella was very pleased with your help. God met with us in a special way with four kids asking Christ for salvation. Praise the Lord!

The Lord blessed me with the opportunity to help with Bible school at my church, Hoopers Creek Baptist Church. It was a joy to see my 1-year-old and 2-year-old great granddaughters attend Bible school. There’s nothing better than passing the Gospel torch to the next generation.

I want to thank North Hazelwood Baptist Church for helping us with a Bible school and building project for Missionary Justin Barnett at Indian Wells Baptist Church on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. Without you this would not have been possible. God gave you salvation for five precious souls for your labors.

I want to thank Old Savannah Baptist Church and East Alarka Baptist Church for helping Missionary Jacob Jones with a Bible school on the Quechan Reservation in Clearwater, California. Your hard work and great sacrifices to make this possible is recorded in heaven, and God will bless you for what you have done.

Finally, I want to thank Hoopers Creek Baptist Church for helping us with a Bible school on the Fort Hall Reservation in Blackfoot, Idaho. The joy you brought to Missionary Joe and Lela Copley and the church folks was overwhelming. God used you in a mighty way and gave you three precious souls for your labors. Heaven has all this recorded, and God is faithful to repay you for your investments.

We are rejoicing to have the John Eliot Native American Bibles in hand and ready for delivery. Lord willing, September 8th and 15th we will be delivering the Bibles to the Wampanoag people in Massachusetts. Please pray for these times of meetings and distribution.

We have added an additional booklet to the order. John Eliot wrote a grammar book to teach the Algonquin speaking people how to read their language. We need approximately $8,000 to cover the cost of this booklet. Please consider helping us to cover this expense.

If you would like to help us with the remainder of this John Eliot Bible expense, you can send your support for this Bible project to Native American Mission Fund Ministries, 3232 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768. Please mark the MEMO, John Eliot Bible Fund. Please pray for this Bible project and call me if you have any questions.
