Dear Soldiers of the Cross,
We want to start this letter off with a GREAT BIG PRAISE REPORT. Our last meeting service for Share-A-Thon 2025, WGCR Radio, was a great success. We exceeded our goals for the radio and also the network. Praise the Lord! God met with us in a special way with great preaching, singing, fellowship and lots of good food. It was heaven on earth! Thanks to all of God’s people that made this possible. Please plan on joining us next year for Share-A-Thon 2026, March 1-8.
We are rejoicing that we were able to assist one of our missionaries on the Yakama Reservation in Washington State with a new building addition to his church. Pastor Glenn Hohmann, of the Yakama Valley Baptist Church, has been a great blessing to me for many years. Bro Hohmann and his dear wife, Deb, are members of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana and have been missionaries to our Native people for more than 30 years. If you would like to help them with this needed addition, please contact him at (509) 945-0325.
God has given us another wonderful opportunity to be a part of Awake America and Capital Connection through Independent Baptist Church in Clinton, Maryland. This year we gave all of our leaders on Capitol Hill a New Testament, Bible and a wonderful historical book of all the signers of the Declaration of Independence written by John Sanderson. God gave us much liberty as we shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them and their staff. I was amazed at the response we received form many of them as they gave us the Gospel in return. All of the members of Congress we spoke with pleaded with us to please pray for them, as they were in the midst of an evil warfare. I now have a greater desire to pray for our governmental officials, and I trust you do as well. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
Finally, brethren, I have a personal request. My wife and I have been driving older vehicles for some time. Ms Sheril has a 1997 GMC with 330,000 miles, and my vehicle is a 1995 dodge truck with 360,000 miles. God has truly blessed these vehicles with long life. I have used them as a part of my preaching messages for many years. For years now I have been renting vehicles to go to some of our long-distance meetings because our vehicles were not dependable. We just purchased a 2023 Tahoe for our mission work. If you would like to help us with this expense, you can send your support to ABMI, 3232 Hendersonville Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768. Please mark in the memo, Locklear Vehicle Fund. Thank you so much for standing with us in the ministry.
