July 2022 Prayer Letter

Dear Soldiers of the Cross,

As I write this prayer letter, while sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting to board my next flight, to my next reservation, my heart is filled with joy as I think about all the wonderful opportunities God has given me to serve Him this year. I’ve had a Bible School (VBS) scheduled on a different reservation every week this month, “praise the Lord”. The road has been long and sometimes hard but my friend, “Jesus Christ” has been with me through it all. Nehemiah 2:5 said, “send me that I may build”, Isaiah 6:8 said, “then said I, send me, but the one that claims my attention more than the others is.” Luke 16:27, “Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him (Lazarus) to my father’s house”: Luke 16:28, “For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.” Beloved, how can we as God’s people not have a burden to win the lost to Christ? Please, please, do not let your days of opportunity pass you by, before you get a vision of the white fields all around us.

Grace Baptist Church from Marion, NC helped us with a VBS on the Navajo Reservation in Crown Point New Mexico. God met with us in a special way with 11 souls asking for salvation, “praise the Lord”.

Cornerstone Baptist Church in Houlton, Maine helped us with a VBS on the Maliseet reservation, but due to covid restrictions the reservation is still shutdown and we were not able to pick up any kids. Please continue to pray for this reservation, there is no Gospel works on this reservation and no missionary working with them.

Bonners Ferry Baptist Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho helped us with our scheduled VBS with the Kootenai Reservation. But due to a stand against the Gospel, we did not have any kids to come. We were heart broken for the kids not having opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Please continue to pray for this reservation. There is no Gospel works on this reservation and no missionary working with them. This is the reservation were the lady told me, “We are not looking for God and we don’t want you here”.

North Hazelwood Baptist Church from Waynesville, NC helped us with two VBS’s this summer. One on the Navajo Reservation in Indian Wells, AZ and the other on the Quechan Reservation in Winter Haven, CA. The effort was well worth the sacrifices made, with the one soul that was saved.

Little Ivy Baptist Church once again came to our call for help. They helped us with a VBS on the Dakota Sioux Reservation in Sisseton, South Dakota and also replaced a roof on Eagles Wing Baptist church.

Thanks to all the churches and individuals that have made themselves willing to put their hands to the plow and labor for Christ. God has added this to your account. Please continue to pray for the remainder of the Bible Schools.

As we Labor for Christ,
