July 2026 Prayer Letter

Dear Soldiers of the Cross,

Hello, everyone! I trust you’re doing well and enjoying serving the Lord during these days. God is still manifesting himself to me in such a wonderful way that I cannot let this verse go, or should I say this verse has such a hold on me: Psalm 107:23-24 “They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.” I hope that you earnestly look at this Scripture and ask God to help you first to become willing to move out into the deep waters and truly want to see his hand move in your life. Without a willing heart it will never happen.

We had a wonderful time in Lumbee County during the 4th of July visiting with family and two of our Lumbee churches. The Lord met with us in a special way as we shared updates in the ministry. The 4th of July is the largest gathering of our Lumbee tribe and it’s a wonderful time of visiting with family and friends. The tribe had its first vote on gambling, and I’m pleased to inform you that it did not pass. Praise the Lord! Please continue to pray for our tribe that we will continue to hold to the Gospel way.

It was a blessing to be able to attend Hoopers Creek Baptist Church‘s VBS this year. I stand amazed at my church and the over 70 workers that participated in the VBS, with our high night of over 180 kids and for the week over 900 meals served and several confessions. We serve a great God!

I’m so thankful for Independent Baptist Church in Clinton, Maryland, for helping us with the VBS on the Hopi Reservation once again this year. They did an outstanding job as always, with many hearts of both the kids and the workers touched. Thank you so much for your willingness to serve and be a blessing to our Native kids and also to our missionary, Bro Andy Magnarella. We are looking forward to seeing you back on the mission field next year.

I want to once again thank Hoopers Creek Baptist Church for helping us with our VBS on the Fort Hall Reservation in Blackfoot, Idaho. God met with us in a special way with many professions and so many hearts revived. This is our 12th year doing the Bible school, and most of the group have been a part of it from the beginning. Words cannot describe the joy that we have had during these days. To see these kids grow up and get saved and then become workers in the church is the most wonderful thing to witness. God has your rewards awaiting you, but praise the Lord, we are enjoying them even now. We are looking forward to seeing you back next year.

A few weeks ago, we stepped out on faith and placed our order for the John Eliot Bible with only $33,000 of the $60,000 needed. BUT GOD—can I say that again? BUT GOD met us out in the deep waters, and in two weeks, He sent in the remainder of what was needed. PRAISE THE LORD! If we will not, he will bring it in from another place.
